It functions as a not-for-profit institution to provide support services for mentally challenged children and young adults. The focus of the Trust is the Sulabha School for MR Children, which functions under the aegis of the Commissionerate of Disabilities, Maharashtra State, Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment. It is a small but firm step in the arduous road to create the right atmosphere in our society. The school activities empower persons with mental handicap to gain educational, social and vocational skills and thus promote their overall development. The research centre supports activities that increase visibility of persons with mental handicaps through community participation and transform mindsets of the general population in their own understanding and response to the disability. The Sulabha Trust is indebted to the disabled individuals, their families, the Ministry, the generosity of individual and corporate donors, and the optimism of its staff to help change lives and provide hope to several others.

To conduct an institution (special school) for children with Mental Handicap which ensure all round (cultural, social, educational, development of the special needs child)
 		Vision:
To give proper place in the society to proper place in the society to persons with mental handicap belonging to various classes and rehabilitate then in the society as per their ability.
